CoinMarketCap has launched a feature to allow partners (e.g. launchpads, crypto projects) to run mystery box campaigns on the Rewards page.

5. All campaigns must have a reward value >USD 20K

6. Do not (i) include any affiliate URLs/codes or call to action to trade/register on an exchange, (ii) make any mention of chance/lucky draw/sweepstakes that connotes any element of luck/chance, or (iii) stipulate that users purchase anything to qualify for the Mystery Box.  

7. Lastly, the terms have to expressly mention that the Partner is solely responsible for the selection and distribution of assets to the winners. 

8. Failure to comply will be met with immediate rejection.

Campaign Workflow

a) Partners must fill out the related form below and provide a list of unique promo codes that is at least equal to the number of winners. These promo codes will be uploaded to the MysteryBoxes & Coupon

b) [Optional] If there is a desire to get winners to perform a series of tasks, this must be clearly communicated in the campaign instructions prior to the campaign’s launch. The onus will be on the Partner to create the verification mechanisms on their platform (e.g. a form/portal hosted on the partner’s portal)  to check whether the winners had indeed completed the tasks prior to the redemption of the code.
